Launched<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>1983 :<\/b> A special 3.5-shaku shell titled <em>\u201cNobori Kyokud\u014d-tsuki \u014cgon Sudare Kowari-ukimoy\u014d\u201d<\/em> was launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Larger than the standard 3-shaku shells, with a diameter of 106 cm and a weight of 400 kg, it was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records at the time as the world\u2019s largest firework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although it was a one-time-only launch, it remains a remarkable milestone in the history of Nagaoka Hanabi.istory of Nagaoka Hanabi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">Shakudama Rapid Fire \u2013 First Launched<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>1986 :<\/b> First introduced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Nagaoka\u2019s city status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>2006 :<\/b> Shakudama 100-Rapid Fire for the 100th Anniversary of Nagaoka\u2019s City Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the wide-screen method, 10-inch shells were launched at roughly one-second intervals, beginning as the <b>\u201cShakudama 80-Rapid Fire.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the following year onward, one additional shell was added annually, and in <b>2006, for the 100th anniversary of Nagaoka\u2019s city <b>\u201cLove\u201d and \u201cLoyalty.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading u-mb-ctrl u-mb-10\">Kono Sora no Hana  \u2013 First Launched<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>2012 :<\/b> First introduced to commemorate the release of the film <em>\u201cKono Sora no Hana \u2013 Nagaoka Fireworks Story\u201d<\/em> directed by Nobuhiko \u014cbayashi.
